If you have questions about what Chiropractic can do for a condition not listed or not discussed, please ask. In many cases, damage caused by disease can be permanent and/or irreversible. Research, however, continues to reveal the ability of Chiropractic to slow the progression of many diseases, such as osteoarthritis. Chiropractic can help reduce or, in some cases, eliminate the symptoms associated with many illnesses.
Location of Pain
Pain is sometimes felt in an area of the body distant from the injury or cause. This is called referred pain. For example; shoulder pain can caused by a gallstone in the bladder or a problem in the pancreas can present as back pain. Referred pain is often the case with misalignment of the spine. A subluxation in your next could be causing heaches or numbness and tingling in your hands. So remember, just because your back doesn’t hurt, doesn’t mean your spine is aligned.
